STILL A VIDEO III 2024

This work explores how historical and political narratives are shaped and manipulated by power and the notion of authoritative truth. 'Still A Video III', is a video with an unusual duration of seven weeks, reduced into five still images. Its story exists solely through these static images and the viewer’s interaction, which could complete the narrative. Developed to be exhibited in a window shop in the public sphere over 7 weeks, the project unfolds as a new still replaces the previous one every 10 days, allowing the story to evolve and continue over time. The aim is to generate an alternative timeframe, inviting viewers to imagine what has happened between the frames and anticipate what may unfold in the future.
